Registered Massage Therapist at Propel Physiotherapy

Julie Burrell has experience treating a range of complex neurological and orthopedic injuries such as post knee and hip replacement surgery, post amputation and mastectomy, complex fractures, spinal cord injuries, stroke and brain injuries, scoliosis, Guillain-Barré Syndrome, Multiple Sclerosis, and ALS. She works alongside a collaborative rehabilitation team to help her clients achieve their goals, whether it be to reduce pain levels, become stronger or live more independently.

As a teenager in high school, Julie was in a car accident, and had to go for therapy. This rehabilitation experience peaked her interested in integrated healthcare. She began volunteering at the clinic and decided massage therapy was the best fit for her. Julie graduated from the Algonquin College Massage Therapy program in 2003. She began working full time with us that same year.
