Melanie Glazer looks forward to coming to work and using her knowledge and skills to help clients reach their goals and recover maximally from injuries. Through mutual goal setting and constant encouragement, she creates personalized programs that are best suited to the client, and increase the likelihood of successful completion.
Melanie completed her undergraduate degree (H. BSc) from McMaster University with a double major in Biology and Psychology, involving a large neuroscience focus. She also received a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University.
While completing her undergraduate degree, Melanie became a licensed group fitness instructor and personal trainer. Her passion for exercise and rehabilitation combined with her education and passion for helping people led her to a career in physiotherapy.

Melanie has experience working in the private practice setting, treating various orthopaedic conditions as well as performing vestibular rehabilitation therapy. She has a strong interest in working with clients with various neurological conditions and has taken post-graduate courses to further her education in this field, including the Bobath Concept – the study of human movement.
She has continued to further her professional development by taking additional courses including therapeutic taping, soft tissue release, acupuncture and vestibular rehabilitation.
Whenever Melanie has a few spare moments, she tries to get to the gym as often as possible. She loves taking fitness classes such as cardio kickboxing, interval training and boot camp.
Melanie Glazer is registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
