Orla Hares is passionate about physiotherapy and caring for others. She has lived and worked in three countries, on two continents, and has pursued the required credentials to continue her practice in every one.
She likes to think outside the box and enjoys pushing the boundaries to while giving each individual client the confidence to achieve goals they might otherwise think impossible. Orla’s patient and compassionate nature can help keep things calm even in chaotic and stressful environments.
Orla has more than 13 years of professional physiotherapy practice, including senior positions in private clinics, acute hospital settings, movement disorder clinics, rehabilitation settings, geriatric rehabilitation centers, and in the community, in the UK, Ireland and Canada. She has a special interest and training and neurology and gerontology.
She is an experienced interdisciplinary team member who regularly works with movement disorder specialists, neurologists, occupational therapists, kinesiologists and other specialists.

Orla Hares holds a Bachelor Honours Physiotherapy degree from the University of Brighton, United Kingdom (2003), and a National Certificate in Applied Physiology and Health Science from the Institute of Technology Carlow, Ireland (2000).
Her education has continued post-graduation with additional training and certifications in neuro -development treatment (NDT) and Bobath, Bioness L300/H200, kinesiology taping, gait/balance training, and goal orientated treatments.
In her spare time, Orla loves being outdoors whether its having fun with her kids, going for a run, or hiking. She also enjoys relaxing in the back garden with friends and family.
Orla Hares is a registered physiotherapist in good standing with the Ontario College of Physiotherapists and the Neural Development Training Association. She was previously registered with the UK Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists.
